I am an MPH grad of HWSPH with concentration in Technology and Precision Health. My involvement in ReCODE Health started when I participated in the PCOR study for my capstone project in the MPH program.
My background is in the conduct of regulated IVD clinical research utilizing my experience in performing studies on clinical diagnostic assays, novel biomarkers, and automated laboratory instrument systems. It was a research and development environment where I applied my academic work and experience in life sciences and preparatory engineering courses in clinical applications. I also served as the Research Trials Regulatory Specialist at the Center for Better Beginnings in UCSD Department of Dysmorphology and Teratology, prior to the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic up to 2021. I currently work in a San Diego-based medical device company as a clinical compliance specialist.
